I have had 2 Getrag trannies and both have been bullet proof! The one in my 2002 996 is going to be tested when the new engine goes in with 450+ H.P.!
The one in my early '89 Carrera has a 993 V-Ram with a lightened flywheel and 320 H.P. and has performed like a champ! The G-50 in the early '89 [from what I was told] was built to withstand 600 H.P.
