Thanks, James. I don't want to sidetrack the thread too much. But it would be a good example of 80% of the resources going for 20% of the gain. The cars running low 1:25's at Willow generally have double my horsepower. Now, those are mostly SCCA T1 Corvettes, so it's not an apples to apples comparison. But I think even saying I'd get a full second out of 100 hp would be too big a claim. And adding 100 hp to a 993 motor would not be cheap.
Getting Tyson out there with the car for a day testing and shock setting changes would provide a lot more bang for the buck. If that got me a half or 3/4 of a second, I wouldn't be (pardon the pun) 'shocked.'
