I was promoted a couple months ago and recently learned that the position comes with the requirement of taking some type of "Assertiveness/Carnegie style" training. I don't mind at all really and they are quite flexible; I can dictate not only the timing but choose the course if I can make the case for it.
That being the said...what's out there these days that isn't horrible? I would prefer something with zero role-playing nonsense but I'm imagining that's a pipe dream
