Well, this is the real killer
Why was it clipped, crashed, rust?? Were the 6 numbers also swapped, was the work photo documented??
To get your Six to the higher value, you would need to convert the sideshift back to the correct tail shift (you still have the parts) I had to do this to mine, is the 2.0 a 911 or a 914-6 engine with the correct carbs??
To have the pain & bodywork done properly, can be very
$$$$ and since the car has been clipped, even if you find the correct engine, still won't bring near the
$$$ as a non-clipped car. Also, does the title reflect the clip job( rebuilt)?
