Having just sold my second car on the BAT auctions, I definately recommend that venue for your 993. I think $35K leaves about $10K on the table as my '88 just sold for near $35K and I'd consider a 993 much more valuable.
I agree with repainting the calipers. I'd also probably good to remove the strut brace but I'm not a big fan of bolt-on parts unless it's for a track car. When I see a car with speed-related bolt ons I usually get worried that the car has been tracked or owned by someone that drove it like it was stolen.
Otherwise it sounds like a great driver and I would market it as such. To appeal to the widest market I'd return the car to "daily driver" and remove stuff that gets in the way of enjoying the car on a commute. Therefore things like upgraded suspension, aftermarket stereo are ok in my book as these make the car more enjoyable. Things like strut bars take away from it as it eats up trunk space.
