Ok so are you saying I cannot attach the ground to the stud I have circled in brown in my picture? I have buttoned everything up like that and I got the engine started and running...now the system is not charging...put a meter on the battery and it reads 11.84...the volt gauge is just a shade below12 and the red battery charging light is illuminated in my dash gauge between the temp and pressure readings... it stays illuminated even when I bump up the revs above 3000rpm.
