it seems like prices have about doubled from say, 10 years ago. For years and years the normal price of a SC was around $13-14k. Now the same car, just older with more miles, is in the low $30k.

I need to finish the paint on my 76S. Its been a hanger queen for 5 years and I want to drive it again. I think I'll take it down again to bare metal when I retire and I'm not stressed out about the economy and finding work.

my friend is a few years from retiring. He couldn't afford a 911 back in the 70s when he started working and now he can't afford the same car 35 years later.

maybe I can find a early 80 SC for him that's not out of this world priced
