A researcher at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia has done one better.
He has developed a cream which will remove tatoos.
It works by stimulating the immune system to "capture" the molecules of ink and transport them to the lymph system.
Here's hoping it works as well as the fellow hopes. Could save a lot of folks an ugly future.
