Mine isn't pretty but it does the job.
I'm up to 65 channels now. That's up from around 30 with the crappy indoor antenna.

That's a really cool antenna. How would it compare to an older outdoor one? I have a big outdoor one from sometime in the '70s mounted in the rafters in the garage and it seems to work ok, but I've wondered if a homebuilt one would outperform it. Or maybe cleaning the corrosion from 30+ years outdoors would help?
