I thought this was a coral snake when I caught it, else I probably would have let it go. It slithered into the office building I worked at back around 2002.
My little boy enjoyed having Caesar around - we kept him almost 14 years
But then my boy grew up. We gave that nake away this day to my nephew's son. And so it goes...
BTW - it's not a coral snake. There aren't even any coral snakes in my state - my bad. It is, I found out, a king snake. A grey banded, California king snake.
