"Gorgeous Polo Red exterior w/Black interior. This vehicle is original with no modifications, has No Rust, original floor boards and factory Porsche cookie cutter wheels"
Color Code 6805 = Bahama Yellow Not to mention the bubbling "no rust" next to the id plate.
"This 912 is a true survivor not often do you run across such a well preserved original Porsche like this"
"an awesome investment and who knows probably a nest egg to leave for your children"
Hope the kids have lots of money to pour into the car to get it right. I have a real problem with so many details on this car. The Porsche letters on the deck lid are waaaaay off. The right front horn grill is so wrong. The rear seats are not correct for a '68. The dash cut for the aftermarket radio. The driver side rocker deco is falling off at the rear. The horrible repaint in incorrect color. Cut door panels for cheap Kraco speakers. Breather hose from the oil fill canister going who knows where. Lack of any details in the engine compartment. Wrong air cleaners. Rattle can respray on engine mounts, along with half the wiring harness. It appears that most of the anodized trim has been polished. Tears in seats with missing screws all over the place. And those Cookie Cutter wheels are so wrong for Cookie Cutters. Almost look like Fuchs to me.
It just sux that this type seller is luring folks that don't know any better into our community for all the wrong reasons. At the current $20k this car is already overpriced for what it really is. What's really amazing is that the seller is also listing another car
1986 Porsche 911 CARRERA and his past feedback indicates that all the P-cars he has previously sold resulted in positive feedback giving folks a warm fuzzy about this 912.
