Grinning and bearing it isn't going to make the place more enjoyable or convince new people to interact in an environment rife with infallible asses. Not everyone is going to get along and bang on their bongo round the fire singing kumbaya. That fact considered, it doesn't license the asses to run wild without a take down from time to time. And the world still turns.
