Does anyone want to take a stab at what a 1969 912 with original paint and not even a nickle in size rust spot can be found anywhere on the car?
I am not keen on knowing where these cars are pricing at and also don't have a gauge on an original paint, zero rust 912. I know no rust is rare enough let alone with it also having original paint.
Tons or records. Original owner was from Sacramento CA. I am in SF where she lives now. Matching everything except for it's standing on a set of period correct, American Racing wheels which could be sold for 3K+- and could be put back to stock steelies easily enough. All gauges working. Engine rebuilt less than 3k miles ago. 77k original miles on her. 2 owners. She wears silver.. Why am I selling? Sad to say, I don't have room in my garage for her after a buying rampage recently so need to part with one of my 5 I now own.
I can stick her into longer term storage until I purchase a warehouse space for my business (which isn't too far off) but if these things have vaulted in price like it seems like from this thread, maybe she is best in the hands of someone else.
