yes- will remove left bank and IMS tensioners. engine can't turn over due to fact that starter is removed due to being a tiptronic. it is pinned at TDC anyway to prevent anyone from getting on a ladder climbing in the car, and wrenching it!!!!
so, figure it's about as "chip-proof" as it can get before starting to remove the IMS flange/cover....
