I can't say that it is or isn't a hate crime. But I can say that there is no sense in responding with hate or playing the race card now, even if it IS a hate crime.
I saw this last night, and couldn't bring myself to respond, I was so stricken with sadness.
All I can do is pray for the victim, his daughter, and his family, including that poor dog.
