Doubtful that a quick, public execution would make much difference in crime rate - states with the death penalty don't have smaller homicide rates. Plus, do you think these kids watch TV news, doubtful. Add to that almost no one commits murder thinking a) they will be caught and b) mulls over the consequences of the death penalty prior to committing the murder if they do get caught.
What is humorous here - the people who tie Holder, Sharpton and Obama as somehow 'responsible' for the 'irresponsibility' of the youth who committed this terrible crime. I bet the kids probably don't even know who Holder and Sharpton are, and probably have only a 'he is president' (if we are lucky) answer to who Obama is.
