Better than you'd think. The coating has a bit of really fine texture that makes it pretty easy to grip. Most guys shave down the top of the sheath and do a paracord wrap.
Of course, if you really want something with good wet weather grip
I had that knife for about a year and a half before I really used it because I didn't want to mess it up. Got over that and now I beat the snot out of it.
