I got everything back together after my rod bearing replacement and turbo rebuild. The rebuilt turbo from Evergreen looks beautiful. As you can see in the photo below, the turbine blades on the hot side were pretty mangled, so obviously this was replaced.

Runs good, but I'm experiencing a bit more lag than I was before. I would expect LESS lag with the good shaft/blades. I'm wondering if this may be normal as the new bearings in the turbo "break in", i.e., it may loosen up after a while. The only other change I made was a venturi delete (which I don't think should have any impact on this). I thought I'd clear this question up before before I spend too much time searching for vacuum or exhaust leaks.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

Roger
