I have also heard that the valve guide issue affected some 993's. I wonder if JW has seen any 993's come through with this issue. I have a friend with a '95 993 and he's getting the wire harness fixed for free but getting it scheduled has been very difficult (he's in LA)
I definitely feel the 993 is my ultimate 911 dream.
