Back in the days when I drove my 1960 VW bug to high school,
about 10 years ago, I could make one of the corners and pull a rear tire up every time. That was at 20 MPH.
With my 914 I could pull a front tire up coming into the parking lot at work, run to red line, stand on the brakes and park.
Back when I had summer performance tires I could lift a front tire on the 911. With tread wear 380 tires that I have now there is not enough traction to do that.
And then there is this from about 1979. Those front brakes were really GREAT!
