My long distance purchase was easy.

We drive to my bank and get a cashiers check.
We walk across the parking lot to his bank where he deposits the check and signs over the title.
I drive home happy !
On insurance, AAA covers you for new purchases. You have a few days to do the paperwork and they send you a bill later.
