Re Hartman - Scott, my recollection was that she became an addict after they had two children together. It was wrong of me to call her a whore - that was me being bitter about his death. Your point, in general, is well taken - don't stay with people who are destructive to themselves and others. I suppose it could just as easily been one of their kids...
