When were spent a week in Flagstaff we drove each day out to a location and back to the same motel each night. When we went down to Oak Creek Canyon we liked it so much we ended up making a reservation at a motel that looked nice for the next night. We drove back to Flagstaff for that night and back to Oak Creek Canyon for the next night. Highway 89A is a fun road. It was nice and cool, like Flagstaff. We never made it down to Phoenix for some reason.
