Try the course in Pacific Grove for reasonably priced golf. It not as long as some of the other courses on the peninsula but it does run along the ocean for a while and plays hard if the wind is up, it also goes inland through houses. It used to be really reasonable, I haven't played there in 20 plus years,so ymmv.
