Max, no one ever will argue a light car is better for the track. It is a simple inarguable fact. Jack's video of his car at the track vs the new GT3s and his old tech light car cornering at faster speeds than a state of the art heavy GT3 is solid proof.
The big difference of the 918 is it is so very fast yet gets over 70 MPG in normal driving and has AC, leather and a full sound system. You car is great for California short trips but only a masochist would drive it from your house through Needles, CA and over to Death Valley and on to Phoenix, AZ in July then down to Miami, Florida.
