My wife and I just returned from that area. We took the 993....my thought is heading up the coastal hiway (the week leading up to Rennsport) you'd probably have a conga line of Porsches behind the RV up to Big Sur! Rcooled definitely hit many of the highlights, Canepa is not to be missed for any Porsche/car guy. I would add Parts Heaven is in Hayward. They have shelves and shelves of used parts and a large inventory of new. Last Rennsport they had a fairly large vendor area that was worth a look. Cheers and have a great trip. We're still considering a trip to Rennsport but having gone with a buddy last time, I'm wondering if my wife has the uh.....stamina for Porsche immersion for a couple or three days...LOL.
