The Alfa 4C is pretty light as well, though the US one is way heavier than the Euro version.
Or a Boxster Spyder is under 3000 pounds which is in the right direction.
Miata is in the 2400 range I believe and can be had with AC and stereo and all the safety stuff.

But none of those have a battery pack. Unless there is a new Li-Air battery the battery weight will suck for some time.
