They can be made easily if you have a TIG, MIG or gas rig. Cut sections of mild carbon tube to correct length on a chop saw so the ends are square. Weld or braze a washer of the correct size to one end and use a 6 point hardware nut to hold it down against the jug. An el-cheapo way is to use sections of PVC pipe with a washer and nut to hold them down. A lathe is the best way to cut the tube so the ends are perfectly square but a chop saw will do.
edit - the important part is to not have a sharp edge on the end contacting the jug so there is no chance of scratching the jug/head mating surface. The el-cheapo PVC has an advantage there. Looks ghetto but works.
