Let's start with: THIS IS COMPLETELY THEORETICAL, so don't tell me to go out and buy a turbo.
Just as an engineering challenge/project.
Working with a 1984 2.5L block and no forced induction - can be driven on the street (Calif. emissions)
I will start with (is this even possible?) a 3.0 crank to stroke it to 2.7
High compression pistons (10:1?) how high can you go on street gas?
Intake and electronics off a 1986 or later 944 (plus Wilks chip).
Bored throttle body.
MSD ignition.
Can it be done?
what would you add or take away from that list?
Comments? condemnation? confusion? conundrums?
TIA
