See you found some Pirellis. Sounds like a good deal.

I put a set of Bridgestone SO-3's on my car and they are great! If you want to go cheap look at Sumitomo and Kuhmo both have tires that compete with those Contis you have now.

Also Goodyear is marketing their F1 GS-D3's in the US now. I just picked up a set of 16" tires for under $100 bucks a tire from Tire Rack to install on my Toyota. Dont think they have sizes that fit the Boxster yet, but worth checking. This is a relatively unknow tire here in US but was getting rave reviews in Europe. Goodyear is offering $60 buck refund on set of four.
