Agree with above, but there are many shades of grey in between the two extremes. But most of us do not have million dollar cars. Mind you, some people with million dollar cars take them vintage racing and would have it no other way.

I actually wanted a car that was not too nice, out of fear that if it was too nice, and too original, i would be doing it a disservice by driving it.
