There is really no reason to use that stuff, unless you happened into a screaming deal on it. For all of the increased wear and tear on the gun, there is no real world ballistic advantage to these loads. Just not worth it.

We used to buy old surplus IMI (Israeli) manufactured 9mm ammo that was meant for sub machince guns. Pressures are far higher than SAAMI specs, probably even higher than this "+P+" stuff. It was pretty obvious we weren't doing our little autos any favors. A buddy finally wound up taking all of it for use in his .357 mag and 9mm convertable Blackhawk, which was stout enough to shoot them without harm. Unless you have something like that, or 1911 size 9mm, I don't think I'd use much of it.
