I can understand the need to check old Fuchs wheels. Those buggers are starting to fall apart but WTF have they got against "cast imitation Fuchs alloys". That's just going to make people run 30 year old crack-riddled Fuchs longer than they perhaps is wise.

It's the cast part that they have an issue with. Since forever there have been poor quality cast knockoffs of the fuchs wheel; many (if not most) of which have proven to be unsafe for track use.
A responsible sanctioning body is better safe than sorry in most cases, it seems.
