Goes without saying he didn't execute the first attempt to pass. But it happens - better safe than sorry.
My position on this is
he shouldn't have proceeded to tailgate afterwards - he let his emotions overrule common sense. The tailgating is what set everything else into motion.
And I agree about the annoying radio and the annoying ring tone....geez louise....
