The top 25% of wage earners pay 85.6% of all taxes
Top 10% pay 68.3% of all taxes
Top 5% pay 56.5% of all taxes.
The bottom half pay 3.1%

It is definitely not fair. I also don't think it is just. It is, however, someone's idea of a good thing. Not my idea, though.
