I'll stick with the SW deck paint then - my Mom will be VERY happy about that, too.
The reason I mentioned spraying instead of rolling is there are hand railings and balusters also (see pic below) - seems like the spraying would be much faster and maybe also do a more thorough job. It wouldn't be a big deal to mask off that doorway & siding.....
