I've scored most of my great Porsche deals on Craigslist. I check it when I travel both at home, and wherever I'm working. Saw a couple of Fuchs for sale on our local Craigslist when I was out of town. Suggested to the hubby that he picked them up for me. $30 for the pair seemed pretty sweet. They are just 14" x 4.5" but the way I figure it, a straight pair of Fuchs any size is worth grabbing at a bargain price.
We bought an 82 Targa a few years ago for $4,200 on Craigslist. Clean title, but some accident damage on one side. Drove it for a couple of years and then parted it out for about double the original price.
Always remember, buyer beware. For every great score, there is a ton of junk and plenty of scammers... The deals are out there. Just keep your eyes open and move on 'em when you see them.
