1975 US Carrera Value
Hey Guys, I bought a nice USA 911 last fall, its a 1975 India Red US Carrera #9115400029, however its far from original. Its a currently a 965 Replica with all turbo flares. It has a 1987 3.3 turbo motor and 915 trans. All suspension is upgraded.
Anyways i've seen the 74 & 75 Euro Carrera's selling for bananas money for numbers matching original cars. I'm curious if my car would have enough value to warrant switching it back to almost original. Unfortunately the original motor and trans are looong gone. So it'll never be numbers matching so maybe that ends the discussion right there. But it is a super clean almost rust free car. I'm wondering if it would be worth the time and effort to swap my drive train into a roller chassis and start backdating the 75 back to a Carrera? I do love the look of the impact bumper Carrera's but not sure I want to invest the time into making one.
Thanks.
