What's your main reason to go to an S spec Engine, more power? Many Porsche elders I ve spoken with over the years, agreed the E spec car was much more realistic to drive day to day from a power delivery, the S was much more work and need high revs all the time to really make it perform, many older articles I've read from the era of 69-73 also agreed the E spec'd motor was an all around better driver... just something to consider... if you want, do a search for older literature on this topic... may be surprising what you turn up..
