I have a wilks 3k5 chip in my 1987 944 NA, still uses oxygen sensor (dont ask me why i didnt get the race chip, seemed like a good idea at the time)
honestly made a difference, idle is smoother, power curve is very well done. car seems noticeably faster.
wilks customer service/attitude is poor but you cant argue with his chips.
