Very nice backyard indeed, 9 thirty. Plus the very definition of early retirement, to still be riding that fishy quad chip of a board, great!
I had a couple of great summers in the 60s guarding at indiatlantic and Sattelite Bch.
Area sure has grown up since.
Baz. Sure sorry to hear of Mike Tabeling's passing. He was very progressive in the transition era from long to short boards. And one of the most successful of the top guys of the day in leading the change. A cool mellow soul too. Mike did well at the world contest held in Puerto Rico.
I've got two guesses of your mystery pic. Swamies in Encinitas, or the Officers club at Ramey in P R.
