Pretty much always some surprises when working with fiberglass parts, question is how big a surprise. As stated above fitment can vary by supplier.. but also from car to car dependent upon how its tweeked. I've worked on enough 911's to notice that fit and finish details can vary from car to car.. and I'm talking about NON-accident vehicles, one that's been tapped can be a whole different set of fitment issues.. or not. That being said.. it shouldn't be too bad.

One think you want to do when your parts arrive is to check for spider webbing or hairline cracks in the gel-coat. Hold the backside of the item up to the light and look for these.. you may want cut into that area and fill & finish before prime and paint as these will "suck down" the material and always be there under the painted finish. Its not difficult to do, and is not necessarily an issue with the manufacturer.. its more the nature of fiberglass parts, some more than others.
