My 83 N/A got around 28-29 mpg running the same town/country back roads on my daily commute. My 85.5 gets around 25-26 mpg on the same route, but has the Wilks race chip installed. I do run it up fast now and then, but generally pull it out of gear and coast for a long way coming up to known stops (helps alot on efficiency).
