Good Morning Everyone.
More rain last night. Another 1/2 inch. That is over 7 inches this month. More to add to the record wettest year ever on record. All of the local water supply lakes are almost back to full capacity. Only Canton lake is 14 feet low but it is rising. It should be full soon as well. The cool thing about Canton is we flew a monthly construction project of an additional spillway but that contract was just for the concrete work. I did not get to see how they were going to connect it to the lake. We got the contract last week from the next company to fly the next phase. I am sure the final customer is the Corps of Engineers. We don't have to deal with them.
The entire 18 months they took to build the spillway it never had any real rain. The site was almost always completely dry. Now the lake is filling up and we can watch the work to see how they connect the new spillway. Right now it is a massive concrete spillway next to lake and not connected.
