I have a hard time measuring mpg because the fuel nozzle shuts off erratically, and the gauge never shows above 3/4 full.

One way to do it is to average over several tanks or fill-ups. Over lets say 5 tanks of gas, mpg = total miles driven divided by total gallons purchased. Keep a log book, even.

With my 944 automatic daily driver in rush hour traffic it is around 20MPG.

I have never measured the S.
