When using my car as a commuter car, I stay away from other cars (no tailgating/hard stops) do a couple MPH over the speed limit to prevent pOlice problems, and like I said....let it coast, the darn thing will roll in nuetral for 1/4 mile easily. I'm not the one out there slashing across lanes and pushing my way through traffic....maybe 30 years ago, but not now. The car is well maintained with stock sized Pirellis, and pumped up to 32 psi. It's not hard to get good mileage (much more of a concern when gas was $4.00 a gallon), and when i'm not stuck in traffic on a tuesday morning, I drive the car spiritedly, but not stupidly.
