No I did not shoot that one but I shot some about like it. One of my favorites was the returning POW in uniform in the back seat of a car with his small several year old son he had never seen on his lap. That POW had the best happiest grin ever.
Maxwell AFB was one of several bases that POWs were reunited with their families. It was a big thing for everyone. I was just part of the group of news photographers there to record it.
