Not exactly but fun (and useless) trivia anyway..
Today, I was searching something about
Porsche engine type numbers and noticed one line in the list:
"930/01 1977 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine for Airship Industries Skyship 500"
I did
some more wiki research and found out that this Skyship 500 airship model really was powered by two modified 930/10 Porsche engines AND it is the same ship that was used in the James Bond 007 A View to a Kill movie. How cool is that?
I think they may be quite rare today, only 6 were manufactured.. Maybe I'll need to get another 911 SC and then build my own airship..
