Bummer. Hopefully just out for a joy ride. My mostly restored 88 Carrera was stolen from in front of my house (just a stone's throw from the now retired Chief of Police) a couple of years ago. Moved it outside so I could work on the Targa in the garage. Gone after a couple of weeks, never to be seen again.
I am not far from Silverlake. I live on a hillside with no sidewalks and the neighborhood is accessible only thru two streets. Police indicated the thief followed me or has some connection with the neighborhood. I was working in the garage on the Targa, two guys stopped to ask if it was for sale.
A neighbor leaves his Cayman in the driveway blocking access to his long hood.
