Sounds like my genius buddy from HS. Tried to drive his jeep across the pond on his dads farm because the water was low. Stuck it in about 3 ft of water and had to get the tractor to drag it out.
Same genius also shot the windshield out of the aforementioned Jeep one night while out road hunting. Still not sure how, but it had something to do with the pistol in the cheap holster on his hip going off. Damn lucky it didn't shoot himself. He bashed the windshield with a rifle stock and told his folks he hit a turkey!
